Home Buyers aren't waiting until Spring.  So, let's get your home on the market now and take advantage of those folks looking to purchase now.  The Real Estate market is good right now! You will have more competition in the spring...just saying!

So You Wanna Sell Your Home?

Hello, I have a buyer that is interested in seeing your house this weekend! I'm calling you to make the showing arrangements and you the seller says..."Oh we can not show it this weekend, we have visitors, it's just not convenient today, can you come back another day? ETC...the list goes on!!!

HELLOOOOOOOO OUT THERE?

You have made the decision, you want or have to move. Your house is on the market to sell! Well then make it convenient to sell! It takes only one buyer to get your house SOLD!

Remember when you put your home on the market  it is no longer a home, it is a house that a prospective buyer hopes to make their home. Yes, it may be inconvenient at times, but isn't that worth it when your house is sold?

So, when putting your house on the market make it easy for realtors with buyers to show the house. After all they may have that one buyer who may just want to BUY your house!

I can't begin to tell you the frustration as a Realtor, when I set up appointments for buyers who want to see certain homes and there are all sorts of restrictions.  Realtors don't always have time to drive 10 miles to your realtors office to pick up a key or hunt down the listing agent  for a combo code(who by the way won't answer their phone...but that's another story!). Put a secure electronic lockbox on the property. KeyBoxes provide peace-of-mind and faster sales. My answer to the buyers is that the seller must not be serious about selling their house and that there are plenty of other houses on the market to select from.

At the end of the day you want your house sold, right?  My point is make it as easy and convenient as possible to have your house shown so it can sell!

Getting ready to sell your home? Go ahead and get out your mop, the bucket and a deep cleaning solution. The key to making a positive first impression is simple…Get it clean, clean, clean! When your house isn't clean, it will instantly send thoughts that you have not maintained your home. Make your house as spotless as you can and you will be ahead of the game. Everyone likes a clean house!
And while you are in the cleaning mode, let's not stop there. You are moving right, so take the minimalist approach. Basically, you want to strip the home to its bare essentials, depersonalize it so potential buyers can see themselves and their lifestyle in the home.
